We are currently seeking volunteers to join our management team for WU23! These volunteers will participate on various leadership committees that will organize the World Under-23 Ultimate Championships in Toronto in 2013. Each green box represents a committee (Volunteers, Facilities, Events, Sponsorship, PR, Competition, IT). The dark blue icons in the chart represent the primary areas of focus within each committee.

We are currently finalizing our 7 Director positions and are now seeking individuals to join their respective committees. Committee members will assist the Director in planning, mobilizing, and executing the responsibilities of the committee in a manner that is professional and that will provide the best possible athlete and spectator experience at WU23 2013. Committee members will report to the Director(s) and the Directors will report to the Co-Tournament Directors. Each committee will be responsible for leading their own group of event volunteers as well – this event is a serious undertaking and will require hundreds of volunteers!

Committee members are highly organized, energetic, TEAM-focused individuals who are confident that they can deliver key responsibilities and who have an eye for detail. Most committee members will be required to volunteer 1-2 hours per week leading up to the event, and then will be heavily involved during the month of the event (note some commitments are different, based on their objectives). Committee members will be expected to attend regular meetings (as determined by Directors) and then take the INITIATIVE outside of those meetings.
